About Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
This course is meant to impart knowledge, inculcate skills, quality and engineering practices in the field of Mechanical Engineering and exposure in Production and Manufacturing Engineering. DITE has trained and industry experienced full time/ visiting faculties having B.Tech/ M.Tech/ Ph.D Degrees from reputed institutions. After successful completion of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course, students can either continue further Engineering studies in undergraduate level or get employment in supervisory levels as Production Engineers, Quality Control Engineers and Design Engineers etc.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Eligibility
Students who wish to pursue a Diploma in Agriculture course must fulfil the following eligibility criteria.
- 10th pass with 55 percent marks; or
- 10th pass with ITI certificate; or
- 10th pass with Certificate in Motorcycle Service and Repair (CMSR) of IGNOU; or
- 12th pass with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
- Candidates should be employed in Central or State-level manufacturing industries or in public or private manufacturing industries or in other related organizations employing similar manpower or self-employed in equivalent capacity.
How is Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Course Beneficial?
- Candidates having passed their graduation degree or an additional management degree could find work in administrative and managerial positions in government departments or public and private sector industries or do research as well as teaching in Research and teaching institutes.
- This course prepares the students to go for various educational, mechanical and related jobs. After this course one can go for higher degree programs in respective subjects.
